Friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor helping students build confidence, understand difficult topics and achieve their full pot

I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor who understands that everyone learns differently. Having recently completed my GCSEs with excellent grades, including grade 9s in Maths and the Sciences, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of having a tutor who can explain things clearly and make learning less stressful.

I have experience tutoring and helping children with their learning, including volunteering with refugee children to support them with their homework. These experiences have helped me develop my communication skills and taught me the importance of adapting my approach to suit each student's needs.

My lessons will be personalised to each student, focusing on understanding concepts rather than simply memorising information. I can break down difficult topics into manageable steps, use examples to make ideas easier to understand, and provide practice questions to help consolidate learning. I also encourage students to ask questions and will happily explain something in different ways until it makes sense.

My aim is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking for help, develop effective study habits and become more confident in their abilities. Whether a student needs help catching up, strengthening their understanding or preparing for exams, I will do my best to help them make progress at their own pace.
