In lessons, we will go through the necessary notes for any modules, and go through past papers together, using strategies to improve marks efficiently. I have made detailed notes in all topics for exam boards in all UK maths exams which we will be using. If you would like to focus on specific topics then they will take priority. I will keep you accountable to make sure you do work outside of our lessons. I would describe my teaching method as being a strong presence, projecting confidence, clarity and authority, whilst maintaining an open and approachable environment.

I have tutored students for over 5 years, both online and in person, getting students to reach the highest grades in their exams. I have also started an online mathematics community where my students and I go through some of the most interesting questions from mathematical competitions, including UKMT challenges, focusing on improving problem solving abilities. I like to incorporate questions like these in my lessons, to improve logical thinking and rational reasoning.

My lessons are designed to make maths feel engaging, practical, and genuinely enjoyable — not just something you memorise for a test. I focus on helping students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence so they can succeed both in exams and beyond them. I studied mathematics at degree level and have experience explaining difficult concepts in a simple, relatable way. I also create educational content online, which has helped me develop an engaging teaching approach that keeps students focused and motivated.
