Engaging Online Maths Lessons for Key Stage 3 & 4 with a Trust-Building Approach

My style of teaching can be found quite unorthodox. Most teachers want to be stern but me I like to connect to pupils and gain their trust. To help them feel they are in good hands and therefore come to lessons with a positive attitude. If they have an eagerness to learn then they are more likely to grasp concepts and learn. My teaching would consist of lots of consolidation meaning after each concept we would go through many types of examples allowing students to be prepared for any kind of situation. It would also consist of slow and engaging explanations for them to fully understand. I would prefer 1 on 1 as I feel each student is different and learns at different paces. But group is also fine as I feel its important students feel they aren’t alone in their journey of learning.
