Friendly and easy to talk to. Knowledgeable and able to share the knowledge in an efficient but effective way.

Talking over the content with the student to identity the biggest gaps in their knowledge which we will tackle first. Then going through this with them in detail ensuring they follow the lesson. I make sure the student is doing so by asking them quick questions about something we covered 5/10/20 minutes ago. This helps with retention of the knowledge as well as checking they are still engaged fully
