Advert description
Throughout my academic career, I have developed strong coaching and mentoring skills. I understand that every learner is unique and benefits from different approaches to learning. By building positive relationships, identifying barriers to learning and encouraging students to develop confidence in their own abilities, I have supported many learners to improve both academically and professionally. I believe that effective academic coaching extends beyond teaching subject knowledge; it involves helping students develop resilience, organisation, critical thinking and independent learning skills.
My professional experience has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my communication style to suit different audiences. Whether teaching university students, delivering webinars to healthcare professionals or educating patients about their conditions, I have consistently translated complex information into clear, engaging and accessible language. These skills are particularly valuable when supporting GCSE students, where building understanding and confidence is just as important as developing knowledge.
I have extensive experience using digital technologies to support teaching and learning, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and virtual learning platforms. I am confident delivering high-quality online sessions, maintaining student engagement remotely and creating a supportive online learning environment. My organised approach, excellent time management and ability to work independently make me well suited to a fully remote role.
I am committed to helping students reach their full potential by providing personalised guidance, constructive feedback and ongoing encouragement. I find it incredibly rewarding to see learners grow in confidence, overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
