Advert description
I provide supportive and structured maths lessons designed to help students build confidence, improve understanding, and develop strong problem-solving skills. My lessons are aimed at late primary and secondary school students, focusing on making maths clear, manageable, and engaging.
My lessons focus on explaining mathematical concepts step by step, ensuring students understand the methods behind each topic rather than simply memorising answers. I use examples, guided practice, and questions to help students develop their skills. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s current level, goals, and areas for improvement. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and learn from mistakes, creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable improving.
I cover a range of topics including number skills, algebra, geometry, problem-solving, exam preparation, and strengthening key foundations. My aim is to help students become more confident and independent when approaching maths challenges.
I have completed GCSE Maths at Higher level and have a strong understanding of the secondary school maths curriculum. Through my own experience as a student, I understand the difficulties that can come with learning maths and aim to make topics easier to understand and less overwhelming. My goal is to support students in improving their skills, increasing their confidence, and developing a positive attitude towards maths.
