Advert description
Hey!
I am currently studying computer science at the University of Chichester and have a history of working with children through mediums such as performing arts and assisting my institutes of education. Computer science is a very broad topic full of various concepts and theories. It offers great career prospects and can prepare kids for many different projects and hobbies alike, but it can be quite hard to grasp at first. From voice acting gigs to freelance computer science jobs, I have practiced both my computer science skills and my people's skills vigorously.
Why do I want to tutor? Well I personally believe you can never over-practice the basics, so tutoring would give me a great opportunity to hone my fundamentals. On top of that, having an extra source of income would greatly help with my studies, so if you think about it, hiring me is kind of a win-win-win scenario.
As someone who regularly tutors his sisters, I've grown very patient with other people, and have a great understanding of the troubles some people may have with studying.
I'm ready for remote tutoring sessions (through the medium of your choice) or face-to-face sessions (given I am in your area at the time), some students prefer that human element of teaching, whereas some students find it better to remove it.
As someone who carries a psychology A-Level, I like to think I have a more developed understanding of how humans learn than the average tutor. Even so, learning is a subjective experience, so hearing from the student and getting learner input on how they can effectively learn information is equally as important when planning out tutoring sessions.
I can do other, less relevant things like impressions, so if that's what you want from your tutor, I'm your guy!
