Hello! I’m Sam, a fully qualified secondary science teacher (QTS) with a degree in Conservation Biology, a Research Master’s in Biological Sciences, and a PGCE in Secondary Science.
I currently teach KS3 and GCSE Science in a secondary school and have experience teaching a range of abilities, from students who need extra confidence and support to those aiming for the highest grades. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3, as well as GCSE Combined Science and Biology, with experience of both the AQA and Edexcel specifications.
My aim is to make science approachable, engaging and easy to understand. I tailor every lesson to the individual student, identifying areas they find challenging and helping them build confidence through clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions and effective revision strategies.
