I am currently training to become a teacher, which has given me valuable experience in planning lessons, explaining concepts clearly and adapting my teaching to different learning needs. I have a strong interest in helping students build both their confidence and academic ability, particularly in Maths. My teaching approach is student-centred and supportive. I break difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps and use worked examples, questioning and practice activities to help students develop their understanding. I adapt my explanations depending on the student’s individual strengths and areas for improvement, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I aim to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will regularly check understanding, identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted practice to help students make steady progress. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to develop their confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
