My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs. As I am currently training to become a teacher, I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style, pace and resources to suit them.

At the beginning of a lesson, I usually start with a quick recap or short starter activity to identify what the student already understands. We then focus on the main topic, where I break challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples, questioning and guided practice before allowing students to apply their knowledge independently.

I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and explaining their thinking. I regularly check understanding throughout the lesson and revisit areas where the student may need additional support.

Lessons can also include exam-style questions and timed practice, particularly for students preparing for tests or GCSEs. I focus on both understanding the topic and developing the skills needed to approach questions confidently.

My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling that they have made progress and, importantly, feel more confident than when they started. I want to help students become independent learners who understand not just *what* the answer is, but *why* it is correct.
