Native Italian Tutor with 20+ Years of Teaching Experience

Ciao! I’m Silvia, a native Italian speaker with over 20 years of experience teaching Italian.

I offer friendly, personalised lessons for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to GCSE and A Level students, as well as adults learning Italian for travel, work or simply for the pleasure of speaking the language.

I have taught GCSE and A Level Italian at Bedales School, adult classes at Petersfield Library, and have been a private Italian tutor for more than 20 years.

My approach is relaxed, patient and encouraging. Every student is different, so I tailor lessons to your level, interests and goals. We can focus on conversation and confidence, pronunciation, grammar, reading and writing, or exam preparation.

As a native Italian who has lived in the UK for many years, I can explain Italian clearly in English while also helping you understand how the language is really spoken and used in Italy.

Whether you’re starting from scratch, preparing for an exam or would simply love to speak Italian with more confidence, I’d be very happy to help.
