I would describe myself as a creative empathetic. I'd love to be able to help the people who are looking to learn and hope that alongside the language learning we find we can all teach each other something new and interesting!

I spent a year teaching my younger Khmer/Thai siblings who live in Cambodia how to read and write English. They would teach me Khmer and I would teach them English. I enjoyed planning out the lessons and making each experience unique for each of them based on there favorite things. I think what I valued the most aside from teaching them was the bonds we developed and the memories that were made. I think personally people remember more when they are in engaged and interested in the knowledge they are soaking up, add a little fun to the mix and it makes an unforgettable moment in time.
