History made easy! Engaging and Clear teaching

Within the classroom, I can bring a strong academic background in history, on top of that, I love helping others succeed academically. I can simplify challenging ideas to make interpretation easier for the student, I also have a solid understanding of basic historical topics . I am independent and have no issue working by myself or alongside others. My main aim is to make my history lessons enjoyable yet sufficient that my students will be able to pass their exams with flying colours. During my lessons, they will be interactive, I will tailor my lessons to make sure each student gets my undivided attention, improving their confidence in writing essays, analysing primary and secondary sources, and overall making history class something that the students genuinely have an interest in. I want to have a good relationship with my students, ensuring that they can easily come to me for any help.
I will obtain my BA History degree from the University of Dundee. I have a genuine passion for history. Although I have not tutored at a professional level yet, I have helped out other classmates study for upcoming assignments at university and my younger siblings during their National 5 and Higher exams, breaking down any topics that they were not quite understanding. I am eager to share my passion with other young people, I love seeing others find enjoyment in something that they find interesting. I believe that I will make a good tutor for students as I have a lot of enthusiasm for creating an image of the past and subject knowledge that helps to back it all up.
