Ten years teaching in Malaysia, South Korea, China and the UK taught me one thing above all: you improve fastest when you are the one doing the talking. So in my lessons, you talk.

I am a British, CELTA-qualified teacher and I work with adults from beginner to advanced. Lessons are built around your goals, not a textbook I happen to own.

My background is in drama and community theatre, so my lessons use role-play, discussion and real scenarios rather than gap-fill exercises. Students tell me the lessons feel like conversations that happen to be teaching them something.
