Advert description
Teaching English privately can be a rewarding experience, to begin with i start by assessing the student's current English proficiency level through a conversation, written exercises, or a standardized test. Then set goals together, collaborating with each student to establish clear and achievable language learning goals. These could include improving speaking, writing, listening, or reading skills.
Each lesson will be customised to suit each student by
developing a personalised lesson plans tailored to the student's needs and interests. Incorporate a mix of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening exercises.
Provide constructive feedback on the student's performance, highlighting areas for improvement and acknowledging progress. Encourage self-assessment as well.
I am flexible in my teaching approach by adjusting lessons based on the student's feedback and evolving needs. Adapting to different learning styles. Also encouraging and recommending supplementary materials and activities for self-study. Encouraging students to read English books, watch movies, or listen to podcasts to reinforce learning.
Every 2 months i will conduct regular assessments to track progress and identify areas that may need additional focus. Adjust the lesson plan accordingly. Fostering a supportive learning environment that boosts the student's confidence. Celebrate achievements and milestones along the way. Communication with Parents (if applicable) Keep open lines of communication with parents, if the student is a minor, to discuss progress, goals, and any concerns.
In terms of my experience i have grown up in England and studied English Literature and Language at A-Level. Additionally i am a TEFL teacher, i got this accreditation 4 years ago.
