GCSE English Literature and Language lessons, specialising in a flexible, super-curricular approach for neurodivergent students

I have had the pleasure of studying and teaching GCSE English for many years now. After achieving an A* in English Literature A-Level with 100% in both coursework components and Paper 2, I achieved a First in my undergraduate degree in English at the University of York, and I will be starting my Master's at the University of Oxford this autumn, specialising in Victorian Literature.

I have worked part-time as an online tutor for most of my undergraduate degree. In these previous roles, I was frequently sought after for many neurodivergent students because of my ethos of flexible, personalised teaching, as well as because I am neurodivergent myself. In the last two years alone, I have had 7 students, all whom went onto achieve their goal grades. I have also devoted time to extra lessons that give grade 9 students a taste of English Literature A-Level, guiding them beyond the English GCSE curriculum according to their own literary interests.
