My super-power is building students' confidence to speak English by creating a space that is warm and friendly and giving regular, gentle feedback. Students tell me that they quickly become more comfortable speaking English. As a learner of French, Spanish and Italian I know how important it is to feel that progress is being made, so I create a personalised Course Plan for each student. My students have achieved goals such as succeeding at job interviews, passing IGCSE, TOEIC or ILETS, starting University courses in English and moving to English-speaking countries for work. One student recently gained the confidence to not only speak at conferences but chair them.
