Classics MA with four years of tutoring and teaching assistant experience. Lessons in Latin and Greek at all levels

I have recently finished my MA in Classics at the University of Arizona, before which I completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Classical Languages at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Classical Languages at Wake Forest University. I have tutored and served as a teaching assistant for Classical subjects for four years at both the secondary school and university levels, and I have been a student of them myself for more than a decade. I know firsthand that, with such a wealth of content, Classics can be daunting.

I offer personalised lessons to ensure each student is equipped with the tools that they need to excel in their Classical studies. My lessons are typically between 30 minutes and one hour, with flexible scheduling available.

Although every meeting is tailored to the student, my Greek and Latin lessons usually begin with an assessment of prior material, followed by grammar practice and reading exercises. Non-translation lessons prioritise comprehension of core concepts in specific topics (e.g., Ancient Religion) and drawing connections to the modern world. In addition to general practice, I am happy to provide targeted examination preparation.
