I’m a professional scientist with over 10 years of experience in biotechnology and drug discovery, and I have several years of experience providing one-to-one tutoring in biology and chemistry. I hold both a First-Class MA in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and a First-Class BA in Biotechnology.

My scientific career has given me extensive expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, immunology, biochemistry and biotechnology. I enjoy sharing this knowledge and using real-world examples to make science more interesting and easier to understand.

My teaching approach

I believe that every student learns differently. I therefore adapt each lesson to the student's individual level, needs and goals.

Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an exam, catching up on missed work or simply want to improve your understanding, I will work with you step by step.

I previously worked as a self-employed tutor, providing personalised one-to-one lessons to high school students in biology, chemistry, as well as supporting younger students with homework.

In my scientific career, I have also mentored junior scientists, led a team of researchers, and delivered scientific presentations and training to both technical and non-technical audiences.
