Hi, I'm Amelie! I'm a Biology student at the University of Oxford, and would love to help others achieve their academic goals 😊

My focus is on STEM subjects; however, I am still competent to assist with other subjects at GCSE level. Given that I have recently left the school system myself, I have a great understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to ‘work the system’ to achieve the best outcomes. It’s very true that not only do you need to understand the information on the syllabus, but also understand how and where marks are awarded. I tutored in KS3 & GCSE sciences/maths whilst in 6th form, and since leaving school, I have also been tutoring A-level maths. As such, I’ve been gaining a wealth of experience to apply to my work with future students. Despite this, I will always tailor teaching methods to individual students based on the key areas they struggle with and how they learn best.
