An ESOL Educator and MSc Applied Psychology student (BPS Member) with a unique perspective rooted in my British-Brazilian heritage and LGBTQ+ identity. I specialise in dismantling "communicative anxiety"—a journey informed by my own transition from a debilitating stutter to a public speaking coach. By integrating psychological frameworks such as the Ecological Systems Model, I address the socio-emotional barriers to language acquisition (housing, isolation, cost of living) alongside pedagogical rigour. Equipped with a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) and a professional background in Careers Advising, I empower Entry 2 English Functional Skills learners to overcome anxiety and use English as a functional tool for both social integration and career success in the UK.
