PhD in Medicine offering friendly, personalised online Biology lessons to students across the UK.

I recently completed a PhD in Medicine at the University of Nottingham and hold a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science from Cardiff University. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of Biology, particularly cell biology, genetics, human physiology and disease mechanisms. During my PhD, I gained experience training and supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students, helping them understand scientific concepts, interpret results and work through challenging problems. Although I am new to formal private tutoring, these experiences have helped me develop a patient, supportive and approachable teaching style. My lessons are aimed at Biology students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their exam preparation or build confidence in the subject. I believe effective teaching begins with understanding each student's individual needs. I would start by identifying topics they find challenging, then tailor lessons using clear explanations, diagrams, practical examples and interactive questions. My goal is to create an encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding at their own pace.
