Advert description
I completed my B.A. (Hons) in Psychology, from Ashoka University, and graduated with a CGPA of 3.78/4. I also completed a post-graduate diploma where I focused on taking on psychology electives in the social and clinical psychology domain. I was on the Dean's List each semester, and graduated with honours from both courses.
As a student, I was a Teaching Assistant for Qualitative Research Methods and Clinical Psychology. For the last 3 years, I have been employed as a Teaching Fellow. I have assisted faculty in courses including Introduction to Psychology, Social Psychology, Qualitative Research Methods, Intergroup Dynamics, and Intersectionality and Psychology: Theory, Methodology, and Praxis.
In this role, I led weekly discussion sessions for small groups of students, hence honing my ability to come up with creative ways of engaging students. I also had office hours where I would clarify doubts one-on-one. I am thus familiar with both working with individuals and groups to ensure they are able to learn at their pace.
I'm currently doing my Masters in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy.
