Math tutor providing GCSE math lessons and A level Mathematics

I am a 22-year-old engineering garduate from the university of Loughborough and can teach mathematics up to A level standard. I am quite comfortable in the subject as I am required to use it throughout my studies at university. I have taught students one-on-one maths during my GCSE’s and have taught others also during my A-levels. My teaching style is described as enjoyable and easy to follow. I am calm and patient with students with even the more complicated topics. I first give the students the method of work and do a few worked examples with them. Once this is done, they are then given the opportunity to do some questions on their own, where I am present for them to ask questions if they are really struggling. I fully emphasis the use of past papers, as these helped me get the grades I desired during my studies. Students should be encouraged to make mistakes, as these can be where the most learning can be achieved.
