Advert description
🎵 Hi, I’m a music theory tutor with a warm, supportive approach and over a decade of experience. I’ve been tutoring music theory at a high level since 2014 and love helping students of all ages feel more confident and capable in their learning.
I hold dual Master’s degrees in Music Education and Music Theory, and I’m a qualified teacher for both primary and secondary levels. Over the years, I’ve worked with children, teens, and adults—supporting everything from the basics to advanced university coursework. I’m also very familiar with the GCSE and A-level syllabuses, as well as ABRSM theory exams (Grades 1–8).
I’m especially comfortable adapting lessons for learners with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. My sessions are clear, flexible, and encouraging—paced to suit your needs and designed to make complex topics more approachable.
I regularly support students with:
- ABRSM theory (Grades 1–8)
- GCSE and A-level music
- Undergraduate theory and analysis
- Chords, harmony, and voice leading
- Form, counterpoint, and rhythm
- Learning theory from scratch or filling in gaps
Whether you’re preparing for exams, tackling uni coursework, or learning just for you, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. If music theory has ever felt confusing, intimidating, or overwhelming—I’d love to show you that it doesn’t have to be.
