Photography tutor, teaching A-level, undergraduate, beginners and professionals

I am an established editorial and documentary photographer with over 30 years of experience in the industry. My work has been featured in books, magazines, national newspapers, and touring exhibitions across the United Kingdom. I hold a Master’s degree in Photography and have spent more than three decades teaching in colleges and universities.

Teaching is a great passion of mine. I take pride in supporting and guiding students as they explore their creativity, develop problem-solving skills, and grow in confidence and knowledge. I believe that everyone has an innate creative spark that, when nurtured, can lead to deeper creative thinking, understanding, and fulfilment.

Both my photographic practice and my teaching bring a fresh and realistic approach to what is required at each stage of photography education. I focus on how the medium of photography can be meaningfully integrated and applied within the wider creative world.
