I have over 25 years of tutoring/teaching at various levels and enjoy setting you up to have a love for learning and success

I am a 48 year old women, who is hardworking, sensitive and creative, I have over 13 years experience teaching in schools, in the UK and New Zealand, mainly working with 11-16 years olds to GCSE level.
I have some limited experience as a visiting lecturer working with Degree printmaking students at a university in Cambridge. I have also run extra-curricular activities organising excursions, school over-night camps and mural painting and craft workshops.

I volunteered as the art co-ordinator at an arts and learning centre called The Bank, in Eye, Suffolk. During this time I was responsible for community art links with local schools, care homes and charities. I also Organised, hung and curated the monthly multi media art exhibitions at The Bank. I streamlined certain processes in order for systems to run more smoothly and helped to manage other volunteers.

Since 2015 I have been self-employed as a gardener, painted to commission and regularly organised and facilitated creative leisure classes for all ages up to 85 in a range of venues!

I have a passion for the arts and learning in general. I believe I am dedicated, honest and enthusiastic about teaching and learning, I am a life-long learner myself, regularly doing courses in subjects such as: Yoga, Indian Head Massage (Diploma), Flax Weaving, Jazz singing and I also have a Diploma in creative ceramics.

I enjoy variety, working with people and believe I communicate well. I am sensitive to the needs of others, kind and give everything I do 100%

Outside of work, I enjoy socialising, taking my dog for a walk, creating my own artwork, cooking and reading.
