English Tutor Providing High Quality Support for ages 11-18

I have a PGCE with QTS in Secondary English, as well as a Master's Degree in Biography and Creative Nonfiction. I love teaching novels, and providing tailored, individualised support for students based on their needs.

I have experience teaching GCSE Language and Literature papers, as well as supporting reading whole novels and poetry analysis.

I have experience supporting students with SEND needs, and worked one-on-one with students in Nurture classes to provide assistance with written and spoken language.

I am keen to encourage oracy, and believe that students who develop their own opinions of the texts we study will be able to access a deeper and richer analysis. Texts come alive when we pick them apart, and provide an open space to achieve learning goals.
