I am a current MSc student in England, with a BSc in molecular biology and genetics, looking to get into tutoring.

My personal belief is that teaching is best done with the use of visual aides and one to one discussion of a topic, making use of recall exercises. I would aim to ensure the student can recall the biological pathways and draw diagrams representing the syllabus content. While also having a strong understanding of what they are recalling. I think learning can and should be fun in order to improve retention and a passion for the subject, especially as a young age.
