I'm a goal-oriented person who works hard to help others also get to their goal, basing myself on the person's unique abilities.

Teaching is an ability I have mastered over the years. I learned that it is important to know what my students need before I give them activities or homework, so that I know what is the best way for them to gain the theory and then act upon it. During my tutoring session, my students have both theory and hands-on experience with the material presented. For example, during a tutoring session, we will look at the conjugation of verbs and how to define when to use the verb; after that, I will ask my students to create and say a phrase with the examples presented on either the computer or the board. I will also give them homework with the information of the day, and a quiz at the end of the week to check for understanding and mastery, as well as to recap what they already know. Every session will build on the next session.
