I start by finding out what each student already knows and where they feel stuck. Then I build lessons around that, using clear explanations, real life examples and lots of practice questions. I break hard topics like forces, electricity and waves into small steps, so students can see how the ideas connect. Every session ends with a quick check of understanding, and I give simple feedback on what to work on next. I also teach exam technique, including how to read questions, show working and use mark schemes, so students feel confident on the day. I am patient, encouraging and happy to adapt my pace to each learner.
