David Nii Okaiteye

Hi, I'm David, a qualified science teacher with a BSc in Physics and a PGCE in Science with Qualified Teacher Status. I have over four years of experience teaching in the UK and Ghana, covering the English national curriculum (KS3 and GCSE) as well as Cambridge IGCSE and A Level.

My lessons are online and fully tailored to you. In the first session, I find out what you already know, where you feel stuck and what you want to achieve. Then we build a plan together. I explain tricky ideas in small, clear steps and use everyday examples, so topics like forces, electricity, waves and energy start to make sense. I also use online simulations and diagrams to show things you would normally see in a lab.

Each lesson follows a simple pattern. We recap what you learned last time, work through new content, then practise with questions. I finish with a quick check of understanding and tell you what to focus on before the next session.

For exam students, I teach exam technique too: how to read questions properly, show your working, use mark schemes and manage your time. I have supported students who were struggling to catch up, and I pioneered my previous school's first A Level Physics class.
