Hello! I’m Ruben, a native British English teacher from Devon, England, known for my clear and friendly accent. I’m TEFL certified (120 hours) and have completed specialised training in Business English, IELTS preparation, online teaching, and advanced grammar.

I bring a global perspective to my teaching, having lived in Asia for three years and speaking C1 Spanish. My 17 years as a chef on mega yachts, in top London restaurants, and at ski resorts in the French Alps have given me a unique ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.


Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring blockchain, AI, playing chess, running, and caring for my woodland in Devon, where I’m also an Airbnb super host.
