Advert description
My name is Chloe and I’m a final-year English and French student at Queen’s University Belfast, currently on track for a First-Class Honours degree. I have a genuine passion for languages and education, and I’m committed to helping students build both skill and confidence in English at GCSE and A-Level. My approach is friendly, structured, and student-focused. I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s exam board, ability level, and goals. Whether you’re struggling with essay structure, unseen texts, or comparing poetry, I break complex ideas down clearly and help students develop techniques they can rely on in exams. Lessons include guided reading, discussion, timed practice, and personalised feedback. I focus on improving critical thinking, essay writing, and textual analysis, while also building your ability to plan and express ideas clearly under pressure. I create a supportive space where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. Lessons are available online and typically last 1 hour, though this can be adjusted based on need. I achieved top A-Level results and have consistently performed at the highest level at university. I’ve tutored younger students in English since my school years and have worked as an English Language Assistant in France through the British Council, where I taught students across a range of levels and abilities. These experiences have deepened my passion for teaching and strengthened my ability to connect with learners. I offer lessons for GCSE and A-Level English students, typically aged 14–18, whether you're aiming for a top grade, trying to pass a difficult module, or simply want to feel more confident in your writing and analysis. If you’re looking for a supportive, well-qualified English tutor to help you reach your potential, I’d love to hear from you.
