Chloe Meehan

My name is Chloe and I’m a final-year English and French student at Queen’s University Belfast, currently on track for a First-Class Honours degree. I have a genuine passion for languages and education, and I’m committed to helping students build both skill and confidence at GCSE and A-Level. Teaching has always been a natural path for me. I began by tutoring younger students while still at school, and later worked in France as an English Language Assistant through the British Council. I also spent time as a Language Counsellor at a language immersion camp, where I led engaging lessons and cultural activities to support learners' fluency and confidence. Beyond academics, I’ve trained and competed in karate at a national level. I’ve also coached younger members of my club and led virtual PE sessions during the COVID-19 lockdown — experiences that strengthened my communication skills and ability to engage learners of all ages. These roles taught me the value of discipline, encouragement, and adaptability, all of which I bring to my teaching. As a tutor, I aim to create a focused yet supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I offer focused, friendly tutoring in French for GCSE and A-Level students. My approach is interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, essay writing, and oral fluency, while also offering exam-specific guidance and feedback.
