Experienced History Teacher with Master’s Degrees in History and Education

I’m an experienced secondary History and Social Studies teacher with Master’s degrees in both History and Education. I have taught History and Geography in secondary schools and previously worked as a K–12 academic tutor, giving me experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and ability levels.

I specialise in helping students build both their historical knowledge and the skills needed to succeed in History: analysing sources, evaluating interpretations, writing well-supported arguments, structuring essays, and preparing effectively for exams.

My academic background includes extensive study of US, European, British and world history, and I am particularly well suited to supporting students studying GCSE or A Level History, as well as students following American curricula such as AP US History and AP World History.

My lessons are structured around the individual student. I aim to identify exactly where a student is struggling, break difficult concepts and skills into manageable steps, and provide clear explanations and practical strategies they can apply independently.
