Violin teacher providing lessons to students of all ages, in classical and/or folk styles

I am an experienced teacher of music theory to children aged 6-14, and child educator with experience in the classroom, offering violin and music theory lessons to beginner-grade 5 level students. I have my grade 8 violin ABRSM, grade 5 music theory and am just completing my degree at Newcastle university in folk and traditional music, placing me well to both follow classical grade systems like ABRSM/Trinity or folk and traditional oral style teaching.
I have a flexible and upbeat teaching style and am experienced in tailoring my work to follow children's individual learning styles to find the most joy in music possible. Happy to teach any age, including adult learners. Lessons would be any length from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on age and desire.
Will combine music reading, oral teaching and music theory and happy to work towards traditional grades, or less traditional repertoire-based routes depending on what suits you/your child and their personal goals.
