I am patient, communicative, resourceful, creative and most importantly supportive to students who need the help they can get.

I have experience teaching maths to Year 7, 8 and 9 students in a one-to-one classroom setting, where I created interactive PowerPoints and resources tailored to each student’s needs. I focused on identifying where students struggled and designed clear explanations and practice questions to build their confidence and understanding. I am skilled at breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps, while also providing more challenging problems to stretch ability. For this role, I would bring an engaging, supportive and patient teaching style. I will make use of online tools such as whiteboards, quizzes and games to keep lessons interactive and fun for primary school children. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where each child can develop their maths skills, gain confidence and enjoy the subject.
