I am a mature, very life experienced native British English speaker with 20 yrs freelance teaching background, in university, in business, and online. I find assisting people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to develop their potential, their education, and achieve their life goals one of the most satisfying things possible. I will be very pleased to meet you and provide this for you in a programmed, professional, and flexible way.

I have a very wide education, including graduate and postgraduate degrees in philosophy and English from leading British universities, and academic and language teaching qualifications. Previously I had a lengthy business career, and since then have lived and travelled in Europe at different times. Meeting people and having new experiences is a great delight.

My main interests apart from family are in academic and teaching work, literature, philosophy, music and film, photography and international current affairs.
I have two grandchildren, and their development and upbringing fascinates me. They inspire me to continue trying to pass on my skills, experience and education to others, because I hope it makes a difference in the world.
