Japanese-speaking Maths tutor | PhD in Mathematics | Lessons in Japanese or simple English

I am a native Japanese speaker with a PhD in Mathematics.

I offer maths lessons for students who would like clear explanations in Japanese, or in simple conversational English. I can help with calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, numerical analysis, homework support, and university-level mathematics.

My lessons focus on understanding the ideas step by step, rather than just memorising formulas. I try to explain concepts slowly and clearly, using examples, diagrams, and simple language.

I am especially happy to support Japanese-speaking students who are studying mathematics in English, or students who feel more comfortable learning maths in Japanese.

In addition, I can teach Japanese using simple English or easy Japanese.

Lessons can be online or in person in Newcastle upon Tyne.
