French tutor providing lessons to GCSE and Alevel students

As a Modern Languages and Business Studies student at University, I’m passionate about helping others discover the joy of learning French in a friendly and supportive environment.
Having studied French for many years and lived in France as an Au Pair, I’ve experienced both the excitement and the challenges that come with language learning. I understand how daunting it can be to make mistakes or prepare for exams, which is why I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental atmosphere where students feel comfortable to experiment, ask questions, and grow in confidence.

My experience as a Modern Languages Mentor has allowed me to work closely with students at different levels, helping them improve their grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and exam performance. I’ve seen firsthand how encouragement and patience can make all the difference to a learner’s confidence.
My time in Saint-Étienne strengthened not only my own French skills but also my ability to teach and communicate clearly with younger learners in a natural, immersive setting.

As a fellow student, I can relate to the pressures of deadlines, assessments, and the desire to perform well. I approach tutoring with empathy, flexibility, and positivity—always focusing on making lessons engaging, relevant, and confidence-building.
