Advert description
I have over ten years of experience teaching English in EFL and EAP contexts, working with both teenagers and adults at different levels. I hold a CELTA and an MA in Applied Linguistics & TESOL (Distinction), which have shaped how I approach both language and teaching in the classroom.
I’m particularly confident in planning lessons, adapting materials for different learners, and keeping students engaged through meaningful, discussion-based activities. I also have a lot of experience helping students improve their speaking and explaining grammar in a way that’s clear, practical, and easy to apply.
In my teaching, I usually start by introducing new language or grammar through context, so it feels relevant rather than abstract. Then I guide students through practice before moving into more communicative activities, like discussions or real-life tasks, where they can use the language more freely. I try to keep a balance between accuracy and fluency, and I give clear, focused feedback to help students keep improving.
