I'm a passionate and outgoing girl. I had a lot of teaching experiences in China. My students vary from 3-year-old kid to 18-year-old high school students.

I began to tutor English for primary and high school students each weekend, and have interned as an English teacher or teaching assistant in many institutions since June 2018. The precious experience of preparing lessons, teaching English, maintaining classroom order and communicating with students’ parents about their children’s learning situation enabled me to obtain abundant practical experience. Specifically, I mastered effective teaching methods from the excellent teachers and regular teaching training, enhanced my management and communication skills, and polished my ability to customize teaching plans according to students’ requirements. Apart from that, to lay more theoretical foundation that underpins my teaching practice, I passed the teacher’s qualification test and got the TKT Certificate and Teacher’s Qualification Certificate for Senior Secondary School (English), attended the teaching training webinar held by the British Council, learned the TESOL course given by Arizona State University on Coursera by myself which gave me a better understanding of the mechanism of second language acquisition, and completed the Online Academic Course provided by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with the themes of English teaching, language education and teachers’ professional development. And now, I'm studying in Newcastle University for the master degree, the major is MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL.
