Qualified Primary Teacher - personalised tutoring for Maths, English, phonics or other curricular subjects

I am a warm, friendly person, with a true love of learning, which I hope to inspire within my students.

Each session is carefully planned, using previous learning as a springboard to advance within any primary subject. Within my sessions I use current literature and teaching pedagogy to inform my practice. It is, in my opinion, extremely important to consider each child as an individual and as a result, I tailor my lessons accordingly, to ensure success within their learning. I use positive encouragement, as well as positive framing around mistakes to ensure students build confidence whilst learning! As well as this, children learn amazingly through stimulating and engaging lessons, that make learning fun, something I aim for every lesson to include.

I have great understanding of trauma informed practice, and have worked closely with many children with a variety of needs, such as visual impairments and AuDHD.
