I am a Chinese-Canadian teacher / trainer of French as a foreign language. I have a lot of experience in preparing official exams. I can guarantee very high success rates.
I have been teaching in business schools, especially at EMLYON, as well as giving private lessons, preparing for exams and tutoring students, both beginners and experienced, for several years. I have been a teacher for the City of Paris, and currently work in training organisations. I am a teacher in companies.
I studied and obtained my higher education degrees in China and England (BA and MBA). I have lived in these countries as well as in Canada and Hong Kong. I have lived in France since 2001.
Originating from China (Beijing) and Canadia, with French nationality, I learned French as a foreign language and I know the difficulties of the language as a foreigner. I later became French and speaking French fluently was a condition for acquiring my French nationality. I am fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and French, which helps to explain the difficulties of French in both English and Chinese.
Thanks to my studies and my very international professional and personal experiences, I know how to teach students from different cultures and I understand the needs and demands of students of all levels.
I also have a good knowledge of the French, English and Chinese school and university systems and the subjects taught, having studied them in detail in these countries.
These experiences allow me to adapt my methods and pedagogy according to my interlocutors.
I always try to motivate students in different ways, looking for what motivates them. I have acquired good teaching methods and I know how to work efficiently. My students get good results and are very happy with the good understanding I bring to our relationship.
I am also active in extra-curricular activities. I organise and supervise language exchanges and summer camps with foreign schools and universities. I can put all this knowledge and know-how at your disposal.
