Advert description
I greatly enjoy tutoring, it is rewarding to help people achieve their potential.
I am experienced in tutoring students for law examinations both for degree courses and professional examinations. My background is as a practising barrister of Grays' inn and a Lawyer of NSW where I had my own solicitor's practice in Sydney. (I also have a LlM and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
I have experience in guiding students towards examination and extensive experience in legal advice and court work. In particular, I have a wealth of experience in contract law, torts, equity and trusts and company law.
As a practising lawyer I have extensive knowledge of practice and procedure. I know this can be difficult when first encountered so a guiding hand is vital. I am familiar with practice and procedure and can explain it in practice.
I believe in engaging students by challenging them in a positive and encouraging manner while assisting them to find their own solution. Learning from engaging with problems ensures that principles are remembered.
I like to think that I am approachable and easy to engage with and can enjoy rapport with students.
