A level and GCSE lessons in three sciences and maths

We have been using Colin for a few years now, initially for secondary school maths and we recently added an extra lesson for GCSE science. Colin has been amazing from the start, he has built up a really good relationship with my daughter and has given her so much confidence in Maths. It has really shown in her grades as well. I would highly recommend Colin to anyone, he makes lessons fun and us brilliant at communicating with parents.

Colin managed to furnish my son with the necessary skills to move up a set in GCSE Maths, a subject he enjoys but was being held back in, and subsequently my son gained a 9 at GCSE level. He is now embarking on an A Level in Maths, and will continue with Colin for tutoring in A Level Physics and Chemistry. My son has gained so much confidence from Colin’s tutoring, and we are very happy.

Colin tutored our daughter Hannah in GCSE maths. Prior to starting lessons with Colin she lacked confidence and at times struggled in applying her knowledge. Colin formed a great rapport with Hannah and helped her come out of her shell. As her confidence grew, so did her knowledge and recall. Hannah was predicted a 5 in her mock GCSE maths. We were over the moon when she got a 7 in her actual GCSEs. We can’t thank Colin enough. We don’t think she would have got that result without him. Thank you Colin :)

Colin has been a wonderful tutor for our daughter throughout her A Levels. His guidance, support, and clear teaching helped her succeed. We’re very grateful for all the effort he put into her learning journey.

My son just received his GCSE results & he has surprised us with his results. Past 2yrs Colin has been tuitioning my son & his dedication in building & preparing my son for his GCSE'S has paid off. Thank you Colin for your exceptional hardwork.

From the student: Colin’s been really supportive, explained things super clearly and makes lessons actually enjoyable!! From the parent: Colin tutored my son in maths and 3 sciences. Happily recommend him without any hesitation: highly personable, always professional and goes the extra mile in terms of teaching and availability, especially near exam time.

Can’t recommend Colin more. My son found him to be engaging and patient and very responsive to questions and emails. Best tutor we have had!

Colin is an exceptional tutor who goes above and beyond. His whiteboard printouts reinforce learning and keep me informed. Colin tailored lessons to add to the activities of our family. More than need extra support! This boosted engagement. His focus on boosting confidence and enthusiasm really helps—not just academically but personally. I’ve seen my son gain confidence after just a few weeks. Colin accelerates learning and increases engagement. If you want a tutor who makes a real difference, Colin is the one. Highly recommended!

Colin provided excellent tutoring services for my son to stretch him during his GCSE physics, chemistry and maths. Having sessions delivered online fitted well around our other commitments, with Colin nurturing my son's enthusiasm for science. The sessions supported him academically to achieve 7, 7, 6 at GCSE, enabling him to move on to study A-level physics. Thank you!

Brilliant teacher! Helped my daughter alot with her A level Biology exams and has been helpful throughout her exam period! He was extra flexible with times during exam season and made a big difference for her exams

Definitely recommend, good tutor, very knowledgeable on exam questions, lessons organised, good teaching for both Chemistry and Biology A levels.
