Advert description
As an engineer by profession, I have always had a strong interest in mathematics and enjoy applying mathematical concepts to real-world problems on a daily basis. My engineering education and professional experience have given me a solid understanding of mathematical principles, logical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical thinking.
I am confident in my ability to teach GCSE Mathematics, including helping students understand mathematical concepts, develop problem-solving skills and build confidence in areas they may find challenging. I aim to make mathematics clear, practical and engaging by breaking complex topics down into simple, manageable steps.
Although my professional background is in engineering rather than classroom teaching, my extensive use of mathematics throughout my academic and professional career gives me a strong foundation from which to support GCSE students. I am particularly passionate about helping students understand why a mathematical method works, rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures.
