Biology tutor with academic experience in Biomedical Science and professional experience as a medical writer

I’ve always had a genuine passion for Biology, which inspired me to study it at A Level and later pursue a degree in Biomedical Science at university. For the past two years, I’ve worked as a medical writer, communicating complex scientific information in a clear and engaging way.

Throughout school, college, and university, I often helped my classmates revise and understand challenging topics — and I found it incredibly rewarding to see that light-bulb moment when everything suddenly clicks. That experience showed me how much I enjoy helping others learn and build confidence in science.

Now, I bring together my background in biomedical science and science communication to tutor students in a way that’s both fun and effective. My goal is to make biology feel approachable and interesting, while giving students the understanding and confidence they need to succeed.

I offer personalised 1:1 tutoring in GCSE and A Level Biology, designed to build confidence and deepen understanding. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, focusing on explaining complex biological concepts in clear, engaging, and relatable ways. I often use real-life examples and analogies to make difficult topics easier to grasp and remember.
