Advert description
Hi! I’m an enthusiastic and patient tutor offering support in English, History, and French for students aged 6–16, from Key Stage 1 up to GCSE and A Level. I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential — whether that’s building confidence in essay writing, mastering tricky grammar, or deepening understanding of historical topics. My goal as a tutor is to make learning engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my lessons to their pace, personality, and learning style. I’m fluent in both English and French and have a strong academic background across the humanities. My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and results-focused. I use a range of teaching techniques, including: Explaining complex ideas clearly and simply, using past papers and mark schemes to build exam skills, encouraging discussion, debate, and critical thinking, and providing personalised feedback and practical study tips
A typical session lasts one to two hours, although this can be adjusted depending on the student’s age and focus. Lessons can be delivered online or in person, and I provide all necessary resources — from worksheets and vocabulary lists to essay plans and model answers.
I have extensive experience helping students with homework, coursework, and exam preparation. My lessons are ideal for students aged 7–16 who want to: Improve their grades in English, History, or French, develop confidence in writing and analysis
, prepare for GCSE or A Level exams and strengthen their language or essay skills in a supportive setting
